Gail Champion

Gail Champion has produced documentaries for a wide range of BBC networks. She is a regular producer on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Stephen Nolan show and has worked on programmes for Radio 4, the BBC’s Asian Network and Radio 2. She also has experience in television and recently worked on a BBC 1 feature.  In 2008 she won a Sony bronze award before setting up Out Loud Media in June.

She started her broadcasting career on the prestigious BBC news sponsorship scheme where she worked on radio features and in television news.  She has written for various national newspapers including The Guardian and the Daily Mail. She also lectures on Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business Studies degree course.

Prior to working for the BBC she had a successful career in business and worked variously as a Business Consultant and Strategy Manager in insurance.
